People first. Story always.
I am drawn to people — the pause before a smile, the hands, the glance that was not meant for the camera. Whether it is a couple, a chef, a model or a whole team, I photograph the person first and the place around them second.
Every shoot is a story with a beginning, a middle and a moment that stays. I look for the details that carry feeling, then edit with restraint — fewer props, one source of light — so the mood does the talking.
